Katy Perry spilled the tea on living NEXT DOOR to Adele 😱

This week we had the wonderful Katy Perry join us on Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, James and Producer Matt. Katy told us all about her brand new song 'Daisies' which dropped earlier today, as well as giving us an insight into her life in lockdown.

As Fleur, James and Matt asked Katy about her lockdown life, she casually dropped in that she has a VERY famous neighbour! Telling the team that she lives next to Adele, Katy revealed, "She’s my next door neighbour, so she’s, like, not only is she on the scene, but she’s, she’s, like, around the corner."

Katy went on to explain, "We live very close to each other, so close that, and we’re friendly and we’ve known each other for a long time, so close, I haven’t seen her in person since she’s been, like, you know, transforming herself because pre-quarantine I was busy, she was busy."

Adele recently wowed her fans when she shared a rare photo of herself to her Instagram, along with a caption thanking all of the key workers who have been working through the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Katy recounted a time last year when Adele called round unexpectedly, "I remember sometime last year, she just knocks on my door and comes in. I’m in my robe, I mean, that’s how, like, it’s fun. She’s great. She’s very…

"She’s very real," Katy continued, "Yeah. Yeah. My, the funny thing is, is, I’ve known her for a while, right, and I think a girl that was working for me at the time answered the door and she’s like, Adele is here and I was still, like, sleeping. It was, like, 11 o’clock or something like that and I was like, okay, I’ll just get in my robe and she just, we just had a chat and a, a cuppa."

Can you imagine?

Katy dropped her new single 'Daisies' today and described it as an "anthem for your dreams".

"I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and think about, maybe, some of the things I took for granted and how I won’t be taking those things for granted," Katy explained. "(I) actually had time to make a list of dreams and things I wanna go and achieve, and do in my life and actually go for them, because I think when it’s all taken away from you, you’re like, OK, but, if you give me one more chance..."
