Katy Perry responds to Calvin and Taylor drama
Katy has had her say
Oh it ALL KICKED OFF on Twitter last night… the platform practically went into meltdown after Calvin Harris’ posted a series of tweets directed at ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift and the rumours that she penned Calvin’s hit ‘This Is What You Came For’.
Calvin confirmed the rumours tweeting: ‘She sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual. I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence pseudonym.’
But things quickly turned sour with Calvin tweeting: ‘I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.’ And Katy’s response was AMAZING… tweeting a gif of Hilary Clinton rolling her eyes and shrugging her shoulders. She also re-tweeted herself from May 2015 ‘Time, the ultimate truth teller’.
Later in the evening #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty started trending, with twitter users really bringing out their best punches...
So far Taylor is staying silent over the situation and instead is putting her time to excellent use by visiting sick children at a hospital in Queensland, Australia.
Taylor made a surprise visit to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital where she signed autographs, posed for pictures and even had time for a sing-a-long!
