Louis Walsh lays into One Direction calling them 'monsters'

X Factor judge Louis Walsh isn't the most popular person with One Direction fans at the moment as the Irishman slammed the boys in a recent interview.
Speaking about the success of the band, Louis revealed the success and fame the boys have enjoyed has turned them into 'monsters'. He said, "Too much money, too much success, too quickly. Simon created monsters and that was it."

As if that wasn't a big enough dig, the X Factor judge continued his rant and added that he believes only Harry Styles will make it as a successful solo artist. He added, "They all think they're going to be solo stars. They're not. Only Harry. That's it."

Despite his unnecessary comments about 1D, Louis did have something nice to say about Liam Payne's romance with Cheryl.
Admitting he thinks Liam is the best thing that's ever happened to the former Girls Aloud star, Louis revealed she is very happy and thinks the couple will last the distance.
Speaking to Event magazine, he said "Can I be honest with you about Cheryl? I think Liam and Cheryl are going to work. He's a nice guy and he's in love with her. He'll make her happy. I think she was in a bad place over the last two years."

After weeks of rumours that the pair are expecting their first child together, it's being reported that Cheryl is finally about to finalise her divorce to Jean Bernard Fernandez Versini, ten months after they split.
Sources close to Cheryl have revealed the 'Call My Name' singer is delighted to finally be getting a divorce so she can move on properly in her life with Liam.
