Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ unstoppable anthem ‘Uptown Funk’ has blitzed past the one million sales barrier.

The funktastic track has now officially sold 1.05million copies and has become the 158th song in UK chart history to reach the seven-figure landmark.

Midas-touched Mark said: “I can’t believe it, it’s insane. It’s definitely an amazing milestone to be in this club with all these massive superstars.

“On behalf of myself and Bruno, I just want to thank everybody who bought this record and put us in this club”.

The last two songs to smash the sales barrier were John Legend’s ‘All Of Me’ and Clean Bandit’s ‘Rather Be’ in 2014.

‘Uptown Funk’ was rush released last December after X Factor finalist Fleur East brought it to the public attention with a sensational performance of the song.

As well as shifting a colossal amount of units, ‘Uptown Funk’ has been streamed a total of 22.8million times and broke the record for the most streams in a week back in January with 2.56million listens.
