Friends' Matthew Perry reveals he's called off engagement to fiancée Molly Hurwitz

Just days after the hugely-anticipated Friends reunion aired across the world, popular actor Matthew Perry has announced he's called off his engagement to his fiancée, 29-year-old Molly Hurwitz.
51-year-old Matthew, who is best known for playing the role of Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom, revealed the sad news to People Magazine, saying: "Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best."
Speaking to the publication back in November last year, Matthew confirmed he'd popped the question to Molly, saying: "I decided to get engaged."
Keeping his speech short and sweet, Matthew gushed: "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
Matthew started dating Molly back in 2018, but the pair only went public with their romance in February last year, when the 29-year-old influencer wrote a loving message to her boyfriend for Valentine's Day.
Molly told fans, 'Second year being my valentine, but his first as an Instagram influencer. HVD to my favorite'. (sic)

After bosses confirmed they actually re-wrote scenes if they didn't bring in laughter, one particular storyline that was heavily influenced by the audience's reaction was Chandler and Monica's relationship. Fans will remember that the pair had a fling while in London for Ross' wedding to Emily (NOT Rachel!) - and the studio audience loved it so much, that the writers decided to change their relationship from a fling to eventual marriage.
