She's been massively in demand since leaving the Love Island villa as a runner-up alongside boyfriend Tommy Fury, so we were over the moon to have Molly-Mae Hague join us on Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, Greg and James.

Molly-Mae, who has amassed over three million Instagram followers since her successful stint on the show, joined us on Hits Radio Breakfast on Friday 16th August, where she revealed what she's got coming up, her romance with Tommy, and which Islanders she still keeps in touch with.

If you rewind your minds back a few weeks, to the Love Island 2019 final, viewers were left stunned when Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were crowned the champions ahead of Molly-Mae and Tommy, despite the pair only knowing each other for 12 days.

So, after Fleur came second on The X Factor back in 2014, she was keen to find out what Molly-Mae thought about not winning, despite being one of the favourites from an early stage.

Fleur told Molly-Mae, "I thought it was like dead certy that you and Tommy had it but as someone who came second in The X Factor, I know what it feels like to be runner up, you're standing there and it's like you are genuinely happy for the people that have won, but it's like bittersweet because you're kind of like ah, I was so close. What did it feel like when you were up there?"

Molly-Mae replied, "Do you know what? Like when Tommy and I came second, we walked off stage together and it sounds a bit cringey but we just looked at each other and we were just like we don't care."

She continued, "It was a really lovely moment. I just looked at him and I just literally felt like I'd already won anyway, like I didn't need to win Love Island to win, because I already found him and that was the prize. I know that sounds dead cringey, like wop, but it's the truth, it is the truth, and I think we always say like we did win in our own way."

The blonde beauty then gushed about her man, adding, "I never, ever expected to go in there and meet him. Literally out of everyone I genuinely think I was the last person in that villa that felt like I was gonna find someone and I think it's because I wasn't looking for anything, that I found it.

"Like obviously, I wanted to find something but I think when you stop really, really searching for something, it does your way. So I just went in for fun, hoping that I'd find someone and luckily I met Tommy. And I think that's why, because I wasn't trying too hard."

Of course, just like her fellow Islanders, Molly-Mae and her other half Tommy have hit the headlines in recent weeks, so here at Hits Radio Breakfast we wanted to find out the truth from the 20-year-old.

Revealing Tommy has 100% NOT quit boxing, Molly-Mae said, "No, definitely not true. That's his life, boxing is him through and through, it's all he knows. It's his whole life, he could never, ever give it up. He's gonna take a little break, he's got a very busy few weeks, busy few months, and I think as soon as things calm down, he'll be straight back in the ring. So yeah, definitely a false, false headline that."

Molly-Mae also put the rumour to bed that she left the group WhatApp, saying, "I'm still in that group. It's not an active group, I'm not gonna lie, there's not many conversations flowing but I'm still in that group and yeah, definitely not left that chat, so false."

TOMMY STOLE LUCIE FROM JOE

After surfer girl Lucie coupled up with Joe on the first episode of the series, things seemed to get off to a good start... before Tommy entered hours later.

Tommy chose to couple up with Lucie, stealing her from poor Joe. He said in the Beach Hut, "At the moment the girl I want to pursue is going to be Lucie. She's a surfer, she goes to the gym. Her body is banging. She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful face, beautiful everything."

Despite being incredibly busy since leaving the villa, Molly-Mae has been able to catch up with her fellow Islanders Maura Higgins and Curtis Pritchard, revealing herself and Tommy enjoyed a cute little double date in London.

However, the model did reveal the struggles of finding time to spend with Tommy and her friends from the villa. She said, "Me and Tommy were apart for a while, so you know, if I'm not even seeing my boyfriend, it's unrealistic that you can try and like meet up with everyone, but I know that when things start to calm down, we'll probably all start trying to meet up and do things together, because I did make some really good friends in there."

In other Molly-Mae news, things are certainly looking up for her! Revealing her plans for the near future, Molly-Mae told Fleur, Greg and James, "Loads of exciting stuff happening for Tommy and I together and separately, like plans to maybe move in together, I've got fashion plans, big clothing things coming out!"
