Nicki and Meek are rumoured to have started dating early this year
Nicki Minaj fuelled rumours that she was engaged after she posted a picture of a heart-shaped ring on her finger last night.
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker, rumoured to be in a relationship with rapper Meek Mill, was flooded by messages of congratulations after she showed off her huge heart-shaped white and yellow diamond ring on Instagram.
The 32-year-old, who split from Safaree Samuels in 2014 after 12 years of dating, initially sparked rumours of an engagement when she posted a cryptic message on Twitter, writing: “I’ll post it later.”
The ‘Pills N Potions’ rapper revealed last year that she would be disappointed if she never had children, but insisted she wanted to get married first.
She said: “I want to make sure I do it in that order. I’ve always felt that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head.”
Nicki and Meek Mill denied they were dating when they were initially linked in December 2014, but Meek – real name Robert Williams – recently admitted he was interested in the star.
He told XXL magazine: “Yeah that’s my baby right there. S*** real. Yeah, I tell her that, I’m like, ‘I don’t really hold hands, but like, I’ll hold hands with you.’ She know that.
“Like, I don’t really do things, but certain people make you do certain little stuff…
"They can catch me in the pictures doing anything nowadays, holding an umbrella for Nicki, you know what I’m saying? I got the girl that I wanted, not what they wanted, you know what I’m saying? What I wanted.”
