He could be one of the most paid housemates ever
Celebrity Big Brother returned to our TV screens last night (Tuesday 3rd January) and whilst it showed the return of some familiar faces, some viewers were left wondering who some housemates were.
This included American singer Ray J, who is also famous for starring in an X rated sex tape with reality star Kim Kardashian. Despite being rather far down on the pecking order in terms of celebrity status, Ray J’s reported fee has been announced and we can’t quite believe it.

American blogger and former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Perez Hilton told a fan on Twitter that Ray J is earning $1 million dollars for his appearance from Channel 5, with bosses hoping he will spill gossip about Kim Kardashian.
Perez wrote, ‘He got paid a million dollars’, after telling fans he wasn’t re-entering the house as an ‘All Star’ because ‘they blew all their money on Ray J’.
If the reports are true, this could make the American one of the highest paid housemates ever, despite most viewers having no idea who he is.
Let’s hope he brings some entertainment!
Last night’s launch show threw up a huge twist which involved the ‘All Stars’ having to choose one of the ‘New Star’ housemates to edit out of the show.
The group, made up of Callum Best, Coleen Nolan, Nicola McLean, Austin Armacost, James Jordan, Jasmine Waltz and controversial couple Heidi and Spencer Pratt (Speidi), made the decision to choose American X Factor star Stacy Francis.
The full extent of their decision will be shown on tonight’s show at 9pm (Wednesday 4th January).
