It's one of the most popular shows on the TV, so it's no surprise Britain's Got Talent bosses like to try and keep the same format and personnel on the show.

It was announced earlier this year that the Britain's Got Talent judging panel will remain the same for the fifth consecutive year, including head judge Simon Cowell, comedian David Walliams, singer Alesha Dixon and TV personality Amanda Holden.

But with the success of the show in recent years, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan had previously stated his interest in returning to the judging panel. The controversial presenter was a judge on the show alongside Simon and Amanda for the first four series.

Speaking about a potential return, Piers previously stated he'd love to return to the show if "the money was right."

And after a number of fans expressed they wouldn't like to see him back, it seems they have nothing to worry about as show boss Simon Cowell has shut down the rumours.

Speaking to Best Magazine, Simon said, "No, that's never going to happen. We all genuinely get on really well. We are just all very comfortable with each other. If I am honest, I just can't imagine changing the panel."

Although no official air date has been announced, auditions for the 2018 series of Britain's Got Talent have already started, with Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly returning to present the show.

Clearly excited about their return, when the auditions started back in January, Ant and Dec took to Instagram to share a selfie of themselves on set. Captioning the shot, 'Ahh, back where we belong!' sic
