It's her second ever tweet

The Queen has personally tweeted from the official Royal Family’s Twitter account to thank everyone for their birthday wishes.

The 90-year-old’s message said she was ‘most grateful’ for all the messages she received.

In case anyone doubted that she hadn’t personally been involved, another tweet followed to confirm that Queen Elizabeth had sent it herself.

It’s Her Majesty’s second ever tweet, as The Queen sent her first in 2014 when she opened a Science Museum in London.

It read "It is a pleasure to open the Information Age exhibition today at the @ScienceMuseum and I hope people will enjoy visiting. Elizabeth R."

Various celebrations took place for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday, including the Trooping of the Colour ceremony, a street party and a special service at St Paul’s cathedral.

During the RAF flyover the country was amused when she was spotted seemingly telling Prince William off for crouching.

It's just one of the many ways her majesty is really relatable, here are 15 more.
