Proud dad of two Ryan Reynolds has revealed the first ever sentence his oldest daughter James said, and it’s an unusual one.

Ryan attended the Critics’ Choice Award earlier in the week where he picked up the award for Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in Deadpool and he wasn’t exactly prepared for his speech so had to compromise…

Picking up his award on stage, the actor admitted he’d failed to prepare a winning speech so instead told the audience his daughter James’ first sentence. Spotting fellow actor Tom Hanks in the audience, Ryan said, “You’re a huge influence on me. My two-year-old daughter, the first full sentence she ever said was, ‘There’s no crying in baseball’.”

For those who don’t understand the movie reference, that is the famous line by Tom Hanks’ character in A League Of Their Own.

It seems the two-year-old is a film fan from a young age! We shouldn’t be that surprised saying as thought she has Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively as parents.

Meanwhile, Ryan and Blake showed off both James and their new arrival, whose name is yet to be revealed, for the first time when the family attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame where Ryan was honoured with a star.

Their two-year-old daughter James looked cute as a button with her blonde curly hair and it was the first time fans have been given a glimpse of their latest addition as proud mum Blake held her in her arms.

Blake and Ryan welcomed daughter James back in 2014 and their latest arrival in September this year.
