The actor is expecting a baby boy
Coronation Street star Sam Aston, otherwise known as Chesney Brown, and his wife Briony have revealed that they are expecting a baby boy in September 2020. After the couple tied the knot back in May 2019, they quickly jet off to the Maldives where they shared some envy-worthy holiday snaps.
Speaking to OK!, Sam revealed his relief to be expecting just the one baby with Briony (for now), due to his loveable character Chesney Brown being famed for caring for his seven-month-old quadruplets on the show.
“I’m glad it’s not quads. One’s perfect and just enough for now!” the soap star told OK!
The news comes shortly after the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary, with the 25-year-old actor taking to Instagram to share the love, writing, 'Trying our hardest to relive the best day of our lives 😂 happy 1 year anniversary @yoga_with_briony thank you for all the beautiful and happy memories ❤' sic.
On the topic of Corrie, the actor told OK!, "The show’s been a massive part of my life for more than half my life – I’m looking forward to getting back in that kebab shop!” Well, luckily, we won't be waiting long as ITV announced earlier today that filming is set to resume on 9th June!
