The rumours really could be true - actress Sheridan Smith is reportedly pregnant! According to the Mirror, the 38-year-old Gavin and Stacey star confirmed she was expecting her first child with fiancé Jamie Horn to the audience at her show on the Stages musical theatre cruise ship.

Apparently, she stroked her tummy and said she has a "baby on board," adding that she's suffering from "morning sickness lark," with the publication even reporting that she'd removed her heels so that she could run off the stage to vomit.

The Mirror report that she told the crowd, "I’ve got buckets in each wing and trainers so I can run. I’m very out of breath. I’ve got all these new symptoms, so sorry!"

Although Sheridan herself hasn't released a public statement about her pregnancy, rumours have been rife that Sheridan is expecting a baby for the past week thanks to some rather leading Instagram captions on her pictures.

Sharing a photo of two VIP passes to the show, Sheridan wrote, 'About to set sail for 4 days, wish me luck with my morning sickness🤢.'

She also shared a picture of herself smiling last week, and wrote, 'Last time I’ll look like this for a while..' which prompted fans to guess that she was pregnant in the comments section.

Sheridan reportedly announce a month ago that she was looking to start a family with Jamie, admitting that working with the children in stage show Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat had made her broody.

She said, "I can’t tell you how much I love the kids. They are all an utter joy and have made the whole experience for me, I will cherish the memories and watch their careers flourish. Me and Jamie now are thinking of making me a mamma. All thanks to these amazing souls."
