Taylor Swift calls her Scottish superstar DJ beau Calvin Harris by his real name ‘Adam’, it has emerged.
The ‘Blank Space’ singer apparently insists on calling Calvin by the name on his birth certificate – Adam Richard Wiles – despite the fact nobody else in showbiz circles calls him that.
A ‘source’ told USMagazine.com: "Taylor always calls Calvin by his birth name, Adam, and never Calvin in private.
"She's head over heels. She hasn't been in love like this before!"
Explaining the reason behind adopting his stage name, Dumfries born Calvin told ShortList in 2009 he wanted a “racially ambiguous” moniker.
He said: "My first single was more of a soul track, and I thought Calvin Harris sounded a bit more racially ambiguous.
"I thought people might not know if I was black or not. After that, I was stuck with it."
