Tina Malone shows off size 6 figure following incredible weight loss
Tina has lost a massive 12 stone
It’s no secret former Shameless star Tina Malone has been working on her figure but now the actress has showcased her full weight loss in new pictures.
After losing a massive 12 stone, the 53-year-old looks completely unrecognisable to her former self and admitted she can now fit into size 6 clothes.
Taking to Twitter before attending a charity ball in Liverpool, Tina wrote “I have been to the Baftas, NTA’s, Cannes film festival to name a few, but this weekend I’m going to my dear friend Dawn Ward's Creme Ball. I FEEL GOOD. For the first time in my life I feel, and know I look good, I just cried trying my dress on, all changed my life.”
She then added “I’ve always been the pig in the room at these events, now I look and feel good I can’t stop crying! Size 6 ball gown!"
The actress and her friends then shared pictures from the night where Tina looked stunning in her long ball gown.
After openly talking about her weight struggles in the past, admitting that she overate and ‘felt terrible’ about her life, the actress had a gastric balloon fitted in 2008 and later had a gastric band in 2010. After losing the weight Tina then underwent a £50,000 makeover to remove her excess skin.
Despite her incredible weight loss, back in July, Tina appeared on Loose Women where she vowed to lose another 10 pounds. Revealing her secret to dieting is eating nutritious foods, Tina said “"I eat spinach and fish every day.... but I do eat chocolate every day. So I am very careful about what I eat, I have to be... You know what... my mother always said I never do anything by halves.”
