Last night saw cast and crew from a plethora of films descend on London for one of the biggest nights in the film industry.

Braving the freezing red carpet the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet and Matt Damon made their way into the the Royal Opera House for the annual Baftas hosted by Stephen Fry for the 11th time.

It was The Revenant which dominated this year's awards with five gongs for Best Film, Director and Leonardo DiCaprio picking up the award for Best Leading Actor.

Closely behind Mad Max: Fury Road picked up four awards including Production Design and Editing.

26-year-old Brie Larson picked up the best Leading Actress award for playing Joy "Ma" Newsome in Room, a drama about a woman and her son who are held captive for seven years before finding freedom.

Winning the only public voted category was Star Wars newcomer John Boyega who received the EE Rising Star Award. He beat off stiff competition from Brie Larson, Taron Egerton, Dakota Johnson and Bel Powley.

Kiss Cam was a new addition to this year's Baftas as the event took place on Valentine's Day.

With Stephen Fry becoming a modern Cupid he paired up unsuspecting 'couples' and asked them to kiss. First up were real-life couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, who awkwardly laughed it off - refusing to lock lips or even plant a peck on the cheek.

Other non-film Bafta moments from last night included Julia Walters losing a ridiculously expensive earring - priced as much as her house! And the 'reunion' of Titanic's Jack and Rose as Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet both picked up awards.
