Last night (24th September) James Hill was crowned winner of Celebrity Big Brother beating fellow housemate and bed sharer Austin Armacost by less than 2% of the votes.
27-year-old James first came into the public eye last year as a contestant in The Apprentice and despite the egos in the CBB House won the hearts of the viewers. Watch his reaction when he was told he had won below.
While in the House James became good friends with Austin Armacost, ex-partner of fashion designer Marc Jacobs. Talking about Austin, James said, “I got close to some people who hopefully I'll be friends for the rest of my life with. I'm a loner, but to have someone in the house to lean on was so special."
This year there was as UK vs USA theme to the series with the House themed around the two nations. The housemates included talent show rejects, actors and causing a bit of controversy sex tape star Farrah Abraham and ex-porn star Jenna Jameson from the US.
The controversy continued when after just one day in the House American model Tila Tequila was removed when it came to light she had posted a photo of her posing in a Nazi uniform in front of a concentration camp on social media.
Throughout the four weeks of the series there was plenty of drama as you would expect with all the egos in the House. Including Austin Armacost and James Hill stripping naked for Sherrie Hewson's birthday and Gail Porter crying as she wasn't allowed to do the washing up one day.
In the final week of the series we saw the 'big fight' take place between some of the contestants on the spin off show Bit On The Side. The fight resulted in the programme being taken off air 12 minutes early and 'Allo 'Allo actress Vicki Michelle receiving medical treatment. She later took to social media to reassure her fans that she was ok.
