There is no denying Ed Sheeran has become a household name, not only in the UK but also around the world, but it seems not everybody knows who he is....
Ed popped in for a chat with Darryl Morris and he described a very awkward meeting with his girlfriend's uncle.
Talking to Darryl, Ed admitted his girlfriend's uncle didn't know who he was and asked the singer what his job was. When Ed told him he was a 'musician', Ed told us the uncle thought he was a 'mooching musician' who was taking all of his niece's money. 🙈
Despite asking him if he was doing well and what his prospects were, being the polite gentlemen, Ed didn't want to correct him...

Ed met his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn at Thomas Mills High School in Suffolk when they were young. After both finishing their education, Cherry went to North Carolina in America to attend university. It’s reported that Ed and Cherry then started dating in 2015.
After the incredible success of his two comeback singles 'Shape Of You' and 'Castle On The Hill', Ed is gearing up to grace the BRIT Awards stage with a performance next week.
Ed has been confirmed to perform at the prestigious awards show on Wednesday 22nd February, despite not receiving any nominations.
Others already confirmed to perform at the BRIT Awards include, Katy Perry, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, The 1975, Emeli Sande and Bruno Mars.
