Fox have released a teaser trailer for the eagerly awaited new X-Files TV series due for release early next year.
Seven years after The X-Files film, 'I Want to Believe' the cult TV series is set to return for a six part season.
The trailer is only 15 seconds long, but it's long enough to get the fans excited showing the show's stalwarts David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles of Fox Mulder and Dana Scully ending with the iconic theme tune.
Although there will be no direct sequels to the original series which ended in 2002 show regulars Mitch Pileggi (FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner) and William B Davis (The Smoking Man) will also be returning.
Last month Gillian Anderson tweeted a photo from the set much to the excitement of the show's fans.
