'We Are Your Friends' is Zac Efron and Emily Ratajkowski's new film, released tomorrow and takes it's name from the Justice song of the same name.

Centred around the life of Cole, a young DJ (Zac Efron) the film follows his struggle to make it big in the world of electronic dance music (EDM).

In this interview with the film's producer Max Joseph (Catfish: The TV Show), Zac Efron and Emily Ratajkowski they tell us what it was like shooting the film.

Some of the filming took place at an actual festival but when a generator failed three times Zac was left trying to entertain a large crowd,

"We've got a whole crowd of people waiting for the headliners" Zac said, "so I'd talk to the audience and try and hype them up".

Emily Ratajkowski stars in her first leading role, having risen to fame in Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' video.

She plays the part of Sophie, Cole's mentor's girlfriend, but it gets complicated when Cole and Sophie begin to get close.

It’s a film about music, but also about growing up Emily said, "it's more about being a young person and having to decide, because everyone is just pretending to be grown up and an adult. Even at 45 I think people feel like that."

'We Are Your Friends' is released in the UK tomorrow (27th August).
