Zac Efron shares heartbreaking message following his dog’s death

Actor Zac Efron has broken fans hearts all love the world after posting an emotional message following the death of his dog.

Zac took to Instagram to break the sad news that Puppy Efron has passed away and accompanied the message with a cute snap of the pair.

He wrote 'Through thick and thin you've always been my best friend. I'll see you at the finish line, RIP Puppy Efron'.

The Neighbours 2 star then added song lyrics by Chance the Rapper which read 'Felt hog tied ever since my dog died/ He lived to 84, damn, that's a long ride/ I know he up there he just sit and he wait/ I'll be racing up the stairs I'mma get to the gate singing'.

It’s no secret that Zac is a dog lover. The 28-year-old is also the owner of two other dogs, Dreamer and Chappelle.

During a press interview for Neighbours 2, Zac revealed he had recently saved one of his dogs in his underwear. He said ‘I just ran out in the yard to go save him, like in the street, in my underwear,I just woke up and snagged him and was like, 'No, don't run away'.
