Zayn revealed his struggles with anxiety last week and now the former One Direction man is reportedly seeking help through superstar singer Adele.

The 23-year-old penned an emotional statement to fans last weekend, where he claimed he had experienced 'the worst anxiety' of his career.

The heartfelt post read "Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me… with the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career. I cannot apologise enough but I want to be honest with everyone who has patiently waited to see me, I promise I will do my best to make this up to everyone I’ve let down.

“I know those who suffer anxiety will understand and I hope those who don’t can empathise with my situation.”

According to reports, the 'Pillowtalk' singer’s management are doing everything in their power to help him overcome the issue and have even been in talks with Adele's management about it.

Adele's manager, Jonathan Dickins, helped the 'Hello' singer at the start of her career when she experienced a series of panic attacks and stage fright.

A source close to Zayn said "They're pulling in people who can help him because he can overcome this and if he's going to stay in music and singing he absolutely has to get it under control."

Despite the anxiety Zayn had enjoyed monumental success since leaving One Direction in 2015.

Already the singer has released three singles from his debut solo album 'Mind Of Mine', including his megahit ’Pillowtalk'.

The video for the song even features Zayn's girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
