Here's when the live-action Aladdin remake will hit our screens

The release date for the brand new live-action remake of Aladdin starring Will Smith has been announced for 2019.
The remake of the Disney classic has had its release date brought forward a massive seven months, following an announcement that the new Star Wars film Episode IX will be delayed.
Disney have apparently 'swapped' the release dates of Aladdin and Star Wars: Episode IX meaning Aladdin is now set for release on the 24th May 2019.
For many months rumours surrounding who would be playing the leading parts circulated, with Will Smith finally confirmed as the Genie in July. The part had previously been voiced by the late Robin Williams in the 1992 animated film.
Excitement around the new movie has already started as Will revealed earlier this month that filming had started. He posted a selfie featuring his 'new family' Mena Massoud who plays Aladdin, Naomi Scott who plays Princess Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari, who plays Jafar saying, 'I'm over here gettin my Genie on'. sic
Mena Massoud is a little-known actor who has landed the title role of Aladdin in the up-coming film, he also shared the same photo on his Twitter account saying he would update his fans on 'everything Aladdin', however he has yet to post anything since that post.
For many weeks fans of Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall hoped that she would land the role of Princess Jasmine, but they were left disappointed when she wasn't chosen for the part.
While Will Smith is an accomplished actor he also released a number of songs in the 80s, 90s and 00s! As well as hits such as 'Miami' and 'Summertime', many of his songs also featured in films he has starred in such as 'Men In Black' and 'Wild Wild West'.
The superstar recently wowed fans when he performed at Livewire Festival in Blackpool, just one of two live shows he was doing this summer.
