Back after a gap of twenty years the Trainspotting crew have been reunited with original director Danny Boyle.

Speaking to our Ents team Danny said, "I'm very, very proud of the film" explaining how T2 Trainspotting felt very different to others he has worked on.

The sequel to the 1996 film sees Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle reprising their roles as the infamous Rent Boy, Spud, Sick Boy and Franco.

Jo from our Ents team also caught up with actors Robert Carlyle and Ewen Bremner who commented on how iconic the original film was.

"There hasn't been a week that has gone by that someone somewhere hasn't said 'Begbie'," said Robert Carlyle, referring to his infamous character.

T2 Trainspotting follows Mark 'Rent Boy' Renton (Ewan McGregor) as he returns to the place he calls home and is reunited with his friends.
