It's been a massive 25 years since the blockbuster Titanic, starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, was released, and now it's available on the big screen for a limited time.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, 20th Century Studios UK released a new trailer last month, revealing a remastered 4K 3D version of the film would be released on 10th February.

The success of Titanic propelled Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio to global stardom with both actors being nominated and winning several awards for their parts in the blockbuster.

Watch the new trailer for Titanic:

The film was directed, written and produced by James Cameron who addressed the debate over whether at the end of the film, there was enough space on the floating door for Rose (played by Kate Winslet) AND Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio).

As fans of the film will know, one of the most emotional scenes in the film sees Rose floating on a door, holding onto Jack who is in the freezing water. Over the years, many fans have been left convinced there would have been enough space for both of them on the door, however, James has now proved this isn't true.

In a documentary called Titanic: 25 Years Later for National Geographic, the director explained how he had done a "scientific study" by hiring professionals to re-enact the famous scene, which proved the pair couldn't both fit on the door.

Watch James Cameron talking through the infamous scene:

This wasn't the first time James has addressed the scene saying back in 2012 that it wasn't a: "Question of room, but a question of buoyancy."
