We were speaking to him about his new film Dunkirk

Director Christopher Nolan says it's embarrassing how obvious he has made his love for the James Bond films.

There are rumours the Dunkirk and Dark Knight trilogy director is being lined up for the next Bond film - but he is remaining tight lipped for now, telling us "those guys are doing fantastically well on their own".

We were chatting to Christopher about his latest film, Dunkirk, which tells the story of the rescue of over 300,000 soldiers from France during World War II.

The ensemble cast features established stars including Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh, alongside a group of acting newcomers.

They include One Direction's Harry Styles, who stars alongside rising stars Fionn Whitehead and Jack Lowden.

Christopher told us he genuinely believes he has found some of the best new talent in Britain, and that they are "the stars of tomorrow".

Anyone who has seen Christopher Nolan's previous films - including Inception and Interstellar - will know that his stories are often non-linear.

He joked to us he does it to get "double the box office", as people have to go to the cinema more than once to fully understand them.

Christopher also talked us through the way he writes his complicated scripts - saying that it involves incredibly detailed planning, before he writes everything in the order we see it on screen.
