Pixie Lott only travels by piggyback at Manchester Pride 2019

Everyone knows festival footwear is a total minefield, you want to look great but who knows what the weather will be like, and sometimes the floors can get pretty icky. Pixie Lott took the whole festival footwear complications to a whole new level by turning up to Manchester Pride 2019 completely barefoot.
Hits Radio's Jordan Lee caught up with Pixie Lott backstage and she arrived at the interview by piggyback, thanks to an understanding friend. She then immediately threw herself on our outdoor couch - looking fab.
Jordan couldn't help but ask about the footwear situation and Pixie revealed that she always performs barefoot (barefeeted?) but this particular Pride she'd completely forgotten to bring any shoes for before or after her performance - meaning she had to be carried around backstage to avoid the dirty floors.
Her barefoot performance also caused some issues on stage because the 32 degree heat meant she nearly burned her naked feet on the stage! Ouch.
