Charli XCX's latest song 'Beg For You' has just dropped and Jordan Lee wanted to know all about her new single and upcoming album. On 17th February he was joined by Charli XCX, and you listen again to the interview on the Hits Radio app.

'Beg For You' is Charli's first single of the year. It features the 2006 anthem 'Cry For You', by Swedish singer September and is already proving popular with fans.

When the song dropped last week, fans were quick to comment on the new collab, which features Japanese-born singer-songwriter Rina Sawayama, who also supported Charli on tour in 2019.

Rina Sawayama

One fan wrote: 'Omg the Cry For You sample !!', with another commenting: 'queeeeen’s😮‍💨💗'. (sic)

This is the first time the pair have released a song together, but we're hoping it definitely isn't the last!

Charli revealed that she loved working with Rina saying she's a "wonderful artist". Charli went on to explain she thought: "There are a lot of similarities between us, in the way that we make our music, the artistic choices that we've made. She's definitely a boundary pusher and I try my best to continuously challenge myself and my audience with the music that I make."

The singer continued: "So it was fun, you know, she's cool, she's down to Earth and she's just really easy to hang with, so those are the people I like to collaborate with, people I genuinely have a relationship with in real life who are 'good vibe' people."

During the interview, Charli also revealed how she feels about living in Los Angeles, and why it's so good to be back in the UK, she also gave us a little insight into what we can expect from her album 'Crash' which is due out next month. And pop fans will not be disappointed! 😍
