This year is already proving a busy year for George. Not only has he released two singles, 'Anyone For You (Tiger Lily)' and 'Green Green Grass', he's also announced his third studio album 'Gold Rush Kid', along with a special edition called 'The Gold Rush' edition, and he will be going on a UK arena tour as well as performing at Hits Live Liverpool on 20th May.

George's latest single 'Green Green Grass' was written after he was on holiday in St Lucia. It was Christmas 2018 and he was with some of his closest friends, when he heard some loud music coming from another part of the island.

George explained: "After about half an hour, I had to go see what it was. And there was a street party going on, with three different sound systems, people cooking in the street. I asked a woman what was going on and she told me it was a funeral – for three people. They were celebrating three lives! I thought: that is not how we do this at home. And it’s really beautiful."

The music video for 'Green Green Grass' features George singing while a heist is taking place around him, in an American diner. The two women then escape and drive off to the middle of nowhere to bury the money.
