The Who to Headline Glastonbury

The Who have been confirmed as Glastonbury's headliners.

The English rock band who formed in the 60s have had a host of top ten albums and singles in the UK. Probably most famous for their 1965 hit, 'My Generation' which has been conisitently named in greatest rock song lists.

Having just kicked off their The Who Hits 50 tour in the USA, the band, who have only performed at the festival once before as headliners are honoured at the prospect of returning to the Somerset countryside. "It's great to be ending this part of a 50-year career at the most prestigious and respected music festival in the world," Roger Daltrey said.

Glastonbury takes place between the 24th - 28th June 2015.
