Justin Bieber Beats One Direction's VEVO Record

He reclaims his 24 hour title

Justin Bieber has reclaimed his VEVO record from One Direction for the most viewed video in 24 hours.

The Canadian teenager had held the record for six months when his single ‘Boyfriend’ racked up 8million views in a day back in March.

This was then surpassed when One Direction’s ‘Live While We’re Young’ was viewed 8.2million times in September.

Sadly for the 1D lads, their record stood for just one month and has now been obliterated by Bieber’s ‘Beauty and a Beat’ featuring Nicki Minaj which has been viewed a whopping 10.6million times in 24 hours!

Showing no signs of slowing down, after three days it has now been seen 24million times. You can watch the pool party video below.

‘Beauty and a Beat’ was co-penned by Nicki Minaj along with Max Martin, Anton Zaslavski and Savan Kotecha and is available to download now.

The track is lifted from Justin Bieber’s third album ‘Believe’ which hit number one in 15 countries back in June, including the US and UK.
