Katy Perry addresses those Taylor Swift collab rumours 👀
Katy is working on KP5 at the moment
Despite the rumours that Taylor Swift would be featuring on Katy Perry's latest musical offering, it turns out that she ISN'T featured on 'Daisies'. However, when Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, James and Producer Matt caught up with Katy, they just had to ask her about any future collabs with the 'Shake It Off' singer.
When asked if Taylor Swift features on Katy's forthcoming album, nicknamed 'KP5', she replied, "No! Not as yet. No, I mean, it’s, it’s, the fans are so fun, I mean, they do search far and wide for Easter eggs and we do put them in our visuals and in lyric videos and music videos, in content that we create. But, not everything is an Easter egg."

However, fans shouldn't be left disappointed as she hasn't ruled out the possibility of a collab between the two. The pair put their ongoing feud to bed in 2018, after Katy sent Taylor an olive branch on the opening night of her 'reputation' tour, and speaking about working together, Katy said, "The fans are definitely excited for something like that to, to happen in the future and I’m always open."
During the interview, Katy also opened up about being pregnant during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Explaining how she realised she couldn't do some simple things, she joked, "So, I can be on stage and I do this and I do that, but can I make myself food? I need nourishing! Not a peanut butter and jelly sandwich."
The singer who is currently pregnant with her first child with Orlando Bloom, admitted, "I mean, for me, obviously, what’s in the cards is becoming a mother and I’ve always wanted to be that. I didn’t know if I could be that, or if I’d have the capacity.
"My sister is the most maternal one in my family and I’m, I am a logistics strategiser, you know, show off, and I didn’t have the maternal gene. So I’ve had to, like, really learn how to have that and so, becoming a mother will be, first and foremost. But, I have been talking about wanting to go to college and go, possibly, you know, to Oxford one day and that is so far off this year."
Katy Perry's new song 'Daisies' is out now and you can hear it on Hits Radio.
