Katy Perry reveals why she turned down singing 'Titanium' with David Guetta 🎶

Katy Perry has made a pretty huge admission - she very nearly featured on 2011 smash hit 'Titanium'! The song, released by David Guetta, eventually featured singer Sia, who co-wrote the track with the French DJ - and Katy has revealed she was kind of instrumental in that decision.
The 35-year-old, who is expecting her first baby with Orlando Bloom, spoke about the moment with David as part of the virtual Tomorrowland Festival, held on 25th and 26th July, revealing that she very nearly sang on the monster hit.
She explained, "I was like, 'Oh my god, this song is so good!. Who is the person on the record?! They should stay on the freaking record! This is a hit record! Don't put me on the record- keep this person! Keep Sia on this record!'
"I wrote you back an email and I just said, 'You're crazy, I don't need to be on this record, keep Sia."
Fans were so impressed by Katy's insight, and many took to the comments section on Twitter. One wrote, 'This shows how she doesn’t jump on random collabs just to get a hit. She rejected songs like in the middle, black widow & titanium cuz she knew it could be useful for other artist to have their big moment ♥️ queen.'
Another added, 'Katy knew that taking titanium from Sia would be a crime, no one could've done it better than the songwriter herself.'
