Pop princess Kylie Minogue has announced two intimate shows to be held next month in the UK, one in London and one in Manchester.

A far cry from the usual arenas that the pop star sells out, this time around she will be playing at much smaller venues including Gorilla in Manchester and Café De Paris in London. She will also be performing at three other intimate venues in Europe.

Following an announcement to the press the singer tweeted the news saying, '#Lovers, a few of you may have already seen the news... I will be playing 5 intimate #Golden shows in the UK & Europe next month!! 💫'.

And it wasn't long before her fans were commenting on the news. One fan said, 'I would love to be there, just don’t think I can cope with the stress of trying to get a ticket 🙈🙈', whilst another said, 'Kylie I am not ready for the ticket stress 😨😨😨'.

These shows follow the release of Kylie's latest single, a country inspired track called 'Dancing' and precedes her 14th studio album 'Golden' which is due for release in April.

Speaking about the announcement Kylie said, “I’m so excited to perform songs from my new album ‘Golden’ in these iconic European clubs."

She continued, "Each of these venues is very special and - just as I found making the new album in Nashville to be so energizing - these shows will be new, intimate and fun. I just can’t wait to bring these new songs to life and of course, throw in a few surprises for my fans.”

Tickets for Kylie's intimate UK gigs will be available from the 15th February and those who pre-order her new album or register interest will get a unique code and access link to buy tickets.
