Jessie J has lent her voice to 'Grease is the Word' for a live performance of the classic film and musical to be aired in the US.
Later this month a live production of Grease will be broadcast on FOX (US) starring professional dancer and winner of Dancing with the Stars, Julianne Hough as Sandy, Vanessa Hudgens as Betty Rizzo and Carly Rae Jepsen as Frenchy.
Jessie J said she feels "honoured and lucky" to have been asked to take part in the production going on to say that she was "definitely keeping it close to the melody" so that the die-hand fans wouldn't be disappointed.
The 'Bang Bang' singer also took to Twitter recently saying she was "Excited to be part of @GoGrease!".

Grease: Live has been described as a mixture of the classic musical and 1978 film with many of the iconic songs being performed. It is not clear if it will be shown in the UK yet.
