It's been a while since we've heard anything from 'All About The Bass' singer Meghan Trainor, but now she's back with a catchy new song called 'No Excuses'. And we'll be playing it throughout Friday (2nd March) on The Hits!

The singer has been teasing her comeback single on social media with plenty of clips of the song and links to pre-order. Just a few days ago she also released the artwork for the new single, showing the singer wearing a skin-tight glittery top, in front of a bright pink background.

This attracted a lot of attention from fans who commented things like, 'The font isn't legendary, the woman on it is! She's absolutely stunning, we love a queen 💖💘💞' sic and 'You looks so much gorgeous with the blonde hair. #mtnoexcuses.'

The video shows off Meghan wearing loads of different outfits, ranging from a silver jumpsuit to a tasseled denim jacket and baggy red trousers.

'No Excuses' is the first single in two years from Meghan, whose break out hit was 'All About That Bass' back in 2014, reaching number 1 around the world. The singer took to Twitter earlier this week to post a short video recounting how far she has come since releasing her debut single.

Her video, in the form of a handwritten letter, starts 'I can't believe it's almost two years since I released THANK YOU and four years since 'All About The Bass" came out and changed my life forever...'
