Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj are ‘Back Together’ in new video
Can Robin Thicke make a comeback with this new track alongside Nicki Minaj?
Attempting to make a comeback, Robin Thicke has unveiled the official video for Back Together featuring Nicki Minaj.
The disco style track, is made a bit more edgy with the addition of Nicki’s guest rap, and despite the title, Thicke has been quick to state that it is NOT about his ex wife, Paula Patton.
In an Interview with Good Morning America, he explained that he didn’t write it but just connected with it.
> "I just heard this idea of getting back together and getting yourself back together and, you know, what I was going through at the time I really related to that and connected with it," he said. "It's more about the theme of getting yourself back together with love and partnership."
Rocking a sharp suit, Thicke remains cool in the visual, even after being pushed into a pool. Nicki makes a fierce appearance too (as usual), rejecting Robin’s advances.
