August is the most popular month for British people to fly off to somewhere sunny for their summer holiday, so what a better opportunity to look at the top ten annoyances of holiday goers.

Holiday rental experts HomeAway have devised a new survey which reveals just what gets on Britain’s nerves…

From a pool of 4,300 participants check out the results below:

1. Dirty accommodation (54%)

2. Overcrowded cities and places e.g. hotels, restaurants, bars etc. (46%)

3. Poor food (32%)

**

4. Rude holiday makers- reserving sun loungers with towels, jumping the queue etc. (29%)

5. Poor weather (27%)

** 6. Sharing a bathroom/toilet with others (19%)

**

7. Too high prices because it’s a tourist area (19%)

**

8. Not having enough privacy/space (16%)

**

9. Loud/screaming kids (9%)

**

10. The fact that I have to share the pool with other people (7%)
