Milton Jones, Rob Delaney, Russell Kane and more added to Reading & Leeds

A plethora of comedy acts confirmed

With less than two months to go until the dual hosted festivals kick off, Reading & Leeds have today announced the line-up for the Alternative Stage.

A heady cocktail of big name comedy acts, spoken word artists, live acts and DJs, the mightily impressive bill doesn’t disappoint.

Providing laughs across both sites are Milton Jones, Rob Delaney, Russell Kane, Katherine Ryan, Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Holly Walsh, Abandoman, Nick Helm, Daniel Sloss, Luisa Omielan, Matt Richardson, Alex Edelman, Dane Baptiste, Andrew O’Neill, Joel Dommett and Paul McCaffrey.

Heading to Leeds Festival only are Adam Buxton, Stephen K Amos, Piff The Magic Dragon and Mark Grist, while Tom Deacon, Tiffany Stevenson, Wit Tank, David Morgan and Suzi Ruffell will all grace Reading Festival.

Music and spoken word acts confirmed include Jaguar Skills, George The Poet and techno producer Max Cooper.

Transgressive will once again be hosting an Alternative Stage late-night takeover with two completely separate line ups at each of the festivals including DJ sets from Gus Alt-J Vs Huw Stephens, Palma Violets Vs Peace, Jen Long Vs Bless and Transgressive Soundsystem Vs Rockfeedback DJs in Reading; while Leeds plays host to Wiley, Jackmaster, Novelist, Madam X, DJ Target and Bless.

As if this wasn’t enough, there will also be Buttoned Down Disco parties and a series of extra special DJ sets from The Libertines’ Gary Powell and The Kooks’ Hugh Harris for Propaganda. Wowzers.

The Alternative Stage acts join a jaw-dropping line-up that already boasts headliners Metallica, Mumford & Sons and The Libertines plus the likes of Years & Years, Alt-J, Bastille, Deadmau5, Knife Party, Charli XCX and Azealia Banks.

Reading and Leeds Festival take place at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2015.
