Here's how to see the amazing Delta Aquarid meteor shower

We are currently in the middle of a meteor shower called the Delta Aquarids, but it is this Thursday and Friday that we should be treated to an exciting display.

The shower lasts from the 12th July - 23rd August, but its peak is expected to be between 2am and 3am on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th July, when we should be able to see up to 20 meteors an hour.

The Delta Aquarids aren't the only meteor shower that we can expect at this time of the year, with the Perseids, commonly regarded as the best meteor shower of the year, peaking around the 12th August.
