Following the success of the Gladiators reboot, which saw a whole new team of ultra fit contenders take on the invincible gladiators, it looks like another popular TV game show could be set for a reboot.

In case you need reminding, back in 2008, Hole In The Wall was launched, hosted by the late Dale Winton with Anton du Beke and Darren Gough as team captains.

The game show saw celebrities, dressed in silver jumpsuits, with red or blue helmets, knee and elbow pads, having to contort their body to fit through strange shapes in a wall as it moves towards them. Failure to fit through the wall in time would end up with the celebrity being pushed into a pool of water!

Series two saw Anton take over presenting the show, with Austin Healey and Joe Swash taking on the roles of team captains.

Despite only having two series of the game show, over 21 episodes, the show was hugely popular, with the likes of Angellica Bell, Phil Tufnell, Vanessa Feltz and Andi Peters all taking part.

While nothing has been confirmed just yet, Talkback Thames have apparently been 'floating the idea’ of the reboot, and it certainly looks like the show is active on YouTube and TikTok.

The show originally aired on BBC, however as we have seen with Gladiators, there is always a possibility of switching networks.

Since the potential of a reboot reached a fan account on X, fans have been expressing their excitement at the prospect of another series, with one writing: 'Get Stephen mulhern on this immediately!!!', (sic) and another saying: 'Genuinely my favourite, so so happy'. A third commented: 'Yes Yes and Yessssssssss! please please let this be true I Absolutely LOVE this Gameshow and would Absolutely Love to See it come back.' (sic)
