Gogglebox's June Bernicoff has some good news for fans

After losing her husband Leon Bernicoff in December after he passed away following a short illness, it was thought that June Bernicoff wouldn't return to Gogglebox when the new series returns, but now it looks like she's made the decision to carry on with the show.
Back in January, June hinted to her followers that she'd decided to leave the show, replying to a fan's question with, 'It was a great adventure with a great finale with the NTA😊'.
But now it looks like June has decided to continue doing the show she loved with her husband Leon.
The official social media accounts for Channel 4's Gogglebox have sent out a brand new image featuring all of this year's female stars, and June is at the centre of the picture!
The tweet reads, '#GOGGLEBOX RETURNS 📺💁♀️ Brand new series starts Friday 23rd February 9pm @Channel4 #FridayFeeling #GoggleboxFriday'. sic
Fans of the popular show were quick to spot June and express their excitement at the possibility of her return.
Although June hasn't officially announced she will be on the show, the Liverpudlian did retweet Channel 4's message about the brand new series, so fingers crossed!
June's husband Leon sadly passed away in hospital on Saturday 23rd December at the age of 83.
Channel 4 issued a statement on behalf of Leon's family at the time. It read,
"It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sad news that after a short illness Gogglebox's Leon Bernicoff passed away in hospital earlier today.
"Leon and his wife June were the first members of the public to be cast for Gogglebox back in early 2013, and they soon grew to become much-loved voices during the course of the show's 10 series to date.
"Leon's unique personality and sharp wit endeared him to fans of the show, as he contributed fully to Gogglebox's reputation as a programme full of warm humour and unvarnished opinion.
"To those of us that knew him personally, Leon was a man of unwavering principles who exerted a distinct paternal presence both on and off screen. He will be dearly missed by the entire Gogglebox family; cast and crew."
June and Leon quickly became favourites of the show after they were one of the first couples to appear on Gogglebox when the show first hit TV screens in 2013.
The brand new series of Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 on Friday 23rd February.
