Liam Payne is set to star in an upcoming tell-all interview with SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton. The former One Direction star has been travelling with survival expert Ant across Namibia, armed with a backpack, a 4X4 car and each other.

According to official information from Sky, who will be hosting the show on their channel Sky One, Ant will be travelling across Southern Africa, with Liam joining him for the first episode entitled Ant Middleton & Liam Payne: Straight Talking - during which he opens up candidly about his public and private life.

With both men opening up about never-before-discussed topics, it's set to be an interesting watch. Having worked in the SAS for years, Ant is incredibly skilled and highly trained in interrogating and strategic questioning - so Liam's got no chance in keeping anything back!

Ant said of Liam, "It’s been a real adventure filming in Namibia with Liam. He really opened up on the trip and we connected over our experiences in the most inspiring location.

"I am very excited to share our journey with everyone when the show airs on Sky One later this year."

Phil Edgar-Jones, Head of Entertainment at Sky, said, "There’s more to Ant Middleton than being an SAS tough guy. He’s also a smart and empathetic interrogator, so we wanted to turn that skill into a unique new interview show which will see Ant probe his subject in a spectacular setting over an extended period.

"We’re delighted that the brilliant Liam Payne has joined for the special programme to him lay himself bare."
