This Morning viewers were left in tears during a recent episode when show host Phillip Schofield made a heartwarming gesture to a young boy who had been a victim of bullying.

Dr Ranj joined Phillip and his co-host Holly Willoughby on the show for a call in segment as part of This Morning's 'Be Kind' campaign and one caller in particular seemed pull at Phillip's heartstrings.

When caller Joanne told the hosts her son had been affected by bullying so much that he's petrified to even leave the house, Phillip asked to chat to the teenager directly.

Speaking on the phone, Phillip said, "Do you like tele, do you watch a lot of tele? Do you want to come down and see us? Secretly, you don't have to come on the tele but do you want to come and spend the morning with us?"

When the teenager timidly said, "Yes please", Phillip replied, "Okay, you're invited", leaving viewers at home in tears over the kind offer.
