Sheridan Smith's new drama No Return has landed

Promotional adverts have been flooding our TV sets for weeks now, but ITV's thrilling new drama No Return, featuring actress Sheridan Smith, has finally landed.
The four-part show will air today (Monday 7th February) at 9pm, with all episodes then being available on the ITV Hub for those who love to binge watch.
The hugely-anticipated No Return, which is written by Danny Brocklehurst (the man behind Brassic and The Stranger), follows the story of a family heading off to Turkey to enjoy some much-needed sun and family time at an all-inclusive luxury resort.
However, the holiday quickly turns into a nightmare when 16-year-old son Noah accepts an invite from another hotel guest to a beach party.
ITV say of the drama: 'Suddenly Kathy and Martin’s world spectacularly falls apart when they are left desperately fighting for their son’s freedom against extremely challenging circumstances.
'An arrest, an expensive and alien legal system, looming media coverage and resistance from fellow holidaymakers to come to their aid leaves the distraught parents fighting for Noah’s freedom when ironically he should be at school sitting his latest exams.'

Sheridan Smith, who has appeared in shows such as Four Lives, Cilla and Cleaning Up in recent years, is joined by actor Michael Jibson, who plays her husband Martin in the series, as well as young actors Louis Ashbourne Serkis and Lily Sutcliffe.
40-year-old Sheridan plays the role of mum Kathy in the drama, as her world falls apart during the family break to Turkey.

The Long Shadow follows the five-year manhunt for the serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, commonly referred to as The Yorkshire Ripper. The seven-part drama stars the likes of Katherine Kelly, Charley Webb, Mark Stobbart, Liz White and Toby Jones.

Speaking to Radio Times about the script for No Return, Sheridan said: "I read it and was gripped. I had to know what happened. And it instantly gave me that jelly belly feeling of, 'What would you do in that situation?'"
No Return airs on Monday 7th February at 9pm on ITV.
