Ryan Thomas may have gone through hell during his 26-day stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house, but he's come out of it the winner of the show and has the support of the public. During his time in the house, fellow housemate Roxanne Pallett falsely accused him of hitting her "like a punchbag" before quitting the show.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan proved himself to be a true gentleman on the show, and was crowned the winner in Monday night's finale (10th Sept) ahead of Kirstie Alley and Dan Osborne.

Ryan has now appeared on Jeremy Vine's talk show - the same show that Roxanne made her first now-infamous apology on - to discuss the events that occurred in the house, and fought back tears after being shown the video of the debacle.

He said, "You don't have any idea what's going on just in general, the whole show... Roxanne is just a tiny bit of my journey. In that situation you want your friends and loved ones but the whole process, it's tedious."

When questioned over whether he could forgive Roxanne, Ryan admitted, "I think Roxanne has been through a lot. CBB makes headlines and sometimes for the wrong reasons. It's time we look forward. She's suffering enough. I don't want to be part of it."

His words echo the statements made by Janet Street-Porter on yesterday's Loose Women (11th Sept), where she called for the whole sorry situation to be forgotten about now.

Jeremy then asked whether Ryan might be able to meet up with Roxanne so she could apologise face-to-face, to which he said, "It's something looking forward that I don't want to dwell on.

"I don't want to think of the experience in a negative way. Its not to say I don't want to see her but no offence to Roxanne but i have a daughter and I don't want to think about that now."

Well... That's fair enough!

Ryan took to Twitter earlier today to share his first posts since leaving the house, gushing over his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh, who supported him through 'Punchgate.'
