If you're wondering what to watch on the TV on a Saturday night now that The Voice UK is over and Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway is coming to an end, don't panic! The start date for season 11 of Britain's Got Talent has been confirmed and you don't have long to wait.

The popular talent show will hit our TV screens on Saturday 15th April at 8pm. That's only a week on Saturday!

Geordie favourites Ant and Dec will return to host the show for an eleventh consecutive year, with all four judges from last year's series also coming back.

Judges include Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, who've been on the show since it first started back in 2007. They will be joined by singer and TV personality Alesha Dixon and comedian David Walliams.

It will be both Alesha and David's sixth year on the panel after joining the show back in 2012.

The show is expected to follow its usual format of auditions, which have already been filmed, and then a full week of live semi-finals before the big final night.

Auditions for the 2017 series started back in October 2016, with all four judges then joining the rounds in January this year.

The show has unmasked some amazing talent since it first launched in 2007, the likes of Susan Boyle, Paul Potts, Calum Scott and Collabro all landed record deals after appearing on the show, with the likes of George Sampson and dance group Diversity having amazing careers.

Last year brought a BGT first when Richard Jones won the public vote to become the first ever magician to win the show.
