Man charged with dangerous driving after collision in Evesham

A man's been charged with multiple driving offences after a collision between a car and a pedestrian in Evesham.

A 73-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries following the incident on Bridge Street, which occurred at around 11:05am on Thursday 21 March.

Marius Barci, of no fixed abode, has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop at a road traffic collision and failing to report a road traffic collision.

The 21-year-old is also accused of driving without insurance, driving without a licence and possession of cocaine.

He is due before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Two other men who were arrested in connection with incident were released on police bail.
