What can listeners expect from the Breakfast Show?
"You really don't know what to expect day-to-day with us. The only thing you can be confident of is that you'll get a good laugh listening to us in the morning - as well as some on-air surprises!"
What are your go-to tracks at the moment?
Joel: "My top three songs are Saltwater by Chicane, Set You Free by N-Trance and My Immortal by Evanescence and I love Robert Miles’ Dreamland album on a long drive."
Leanne: "I LOVE the songs from the Barbie Movie!"
What's your ultimate throwback song?
Joel: "My favourite throwback is 'What Would You Do?' by City High."
Leanne: "My favourite throwback is Usher - 'U Make Me Wanna’"
Who's the best guest you've interviewed – and why?
Leanne: "I really enjoyed chatting to Take That!" Joel told us: "For me it was The Rock."
Who would be your dream guest?
Leanne told us her dream guest would be Usher and Joel would love to interview Jax Jones!
What would you be doing if you weren’t working in radio?
Leanne: "I would be in Italy, running a B&B." Joel: "And I would working for Leanne at the B&B!"
Where do I know Leanne from?
As well as being on-air every weekday morning, Leanne's also a star of stage and screen, entrepreneur, and charity ambassador. Leanne’s played leading roles in musicals and plays, including Me and My Girl, Scrooge The Musical, Carousel, The Sound of Music, Aladdin and Dick Whittington.
And what about Joel?
Joel has been working in radio since the age of 16 when he started on his hometown station Yorkshire Coast Radio. You might recognise Joel’s face as well as his voice, as he’s also hosted TV shows including Hider in the House and Scorpion Island.
