Airbnb is offering people the chance to live anywhere for a year rent free

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make the world your home for a whole year!

Inspired by the growing demand for flexibility to work from home or wherever you want, Airbnb has announced the launch of their ‘Live Anywhere on Airbnb’ program.

Can you imagine a quick zoom call on a tropical beach...yes please! 🌴🍹

Airbnb is looking for a diverse group to take part from July 2021 to July 2022, with the program open to anyone from young families to solo travellers. They will provide all accommodation and a transportation allowance.

You can pick somewhere exotic to work and relax, or perhaps you'd prefer a road trip adventure, it's up to you!

Lucky participants will share their experiences with the Airbnb team, to help improve future product upgrades and innovations, so they can better accommodate those who live nomadically.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and each participant will be allowed to bring up to three companions along.

Those who will host their own residence on the platform during the program will also be allowed to test out the experience of hosting by earning while traveling.

Airbnb will also assist travellers with helpful suggestions, local trips and activities so they can fully experience the nomadic lifestyle.

This 2002 cover of the Don Henley classic, reached Number 2 in the charts and has become a classic for another generation. This song gives us proper summer vibes all round.

4. Steps - 'Summer of Love'

The cheesy pop stars Steps made an amazing comeback with their album and sold out tour, however it was back in 2000 that they had a Top 5 hit, with a silly dance to match the cheesy song, here is 'Summer of Love'.

5. Kid Rock - 'All Summer Long'

A hit on both sides of the Atlantic, 'All Summer Long' was Kid Rock's first international hit, sampling Warren Zevon's 'Werewolves of London' and Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Sweet Home Alabama'.

6. Cascada - 'Summer Of Love'

Although it has the same name as the Steps song above, this isn't a cover. Cascada's 'Summer of Love' only reached Number 22 in the UK dance chart in 2012, but it's still a great song.

'Summer Moved On' was Norwegian band a-ha's first single, after a break of six years, in 2000.

8. New Kids On The Block - 'Summertime'

At the time of release (in 2008) 'Summertime' was the first song NKOTB had released since their heyday in 1994!

9. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello - 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'

Released in 2015, sadly this track didn't see the dizzy heights of his chart-topping 'Stitches', or 'Senorita', however it's still a great summer song.

10. Maroon 5 - 'This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A MotherF-----'

Released in 2016 by Maroon 5, 'This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A MotherF-----' sadly only reached number 40 in the UK.

11. Girls Aloud – 'Long Hot Summer'

'Long Hot Summer' was the first song from Girls Aloud's third album, 'Chemistry' and was a Top 10 single for the girls.
The music video for the song was influenced by the film Herbie: Fully Loaded, however it never featured on the soundtrack for the film.

Featuring on 'Scoob! The Album', Lennon Stella and Charlie Puth's 2020 hit, 'Summer Feelings' really gives us the summer vibes we're looking for.

13. Shawn Mendes - 'Summer of Love'

Released in 2021, Shawn Mendes 'Summer of Love' has racked up more than 38 million views on YouTube. The song was popular in the US and Canada, but sadly didn't enter the Top 40 in the UK.
